This exam focuses on the liver and gallbladder: fatty infiltration, cysts, haemangiomas, stones and gallbladder-wall inflammation. The aim is to clarify right-upper abdominal pain or follow a known finding.
Preparation
Do not eat for 4–5 hours before the exam; water is allowed. Easily digestible food the day before. Bring previous findings.
